Productive Edge Spring Round-Up
Productive Edge is dedicated to helping turn the community of Chicago into a better place. This initiative doesn’t just include developing technologies to serve the many industries that operate within the Windy City but also to make positive transformations to the areas in which we live and work.
Digital Transformation in an Ever-Evolving Technological World
Technology advances on a daily basis. In order to ensure we consistently deliver unparalleled digital transformation services to our current and future clients, Productive Edge must remain vigilant and adaptive, recognizing that changes in technology come often and quickly. That’s why we consistently develop new tactics to harness these trends, expand our competencies, and bring the best possible solutions to our customers.
Productive Edge Transforms its Candidate Experience
In an effort to continually offer the best possible experience for our employees and new hire candidates, Productive Edge has partnered with Jobvite to redesign our career portal. The purpose of this update is to deliver an enhanced channel for our team to engage with prospective talent. With the market for top talent being so competitive, we wanted to be able to streamline our application process while staying connected with any passive talent that is considering us for the future.
PE Cares: Lakeview Food Pantry Volunteering
Each month, Productive Edge (PE), engages with the Chicago community to find opportunities to give back. In April, we partnered with the Lakeview Food Pantry to provide assistance in helping provide for those in need on April 16, 2019. Like in the past events, the Lakeview Food Pantry was attended by employees from Productive Edge. Volunteers included:

2019 Hackathon with UIC Black Tech Scholars
Productive Edge is excited to have once again hosted students from the University of Illinois at Chicago Black Tech Scholars program (UIC BTS) for this year’s Hackathon. The event was held in at the PE offices. Under the guidance of PE employees, students were able to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. The Hackathon brought in participants from different majors and backgrounds, all who are preparing for a career in computer science..
