Productive Edge Transforms its Candidate Experience
In an effort to continually offer the best possible experience for our employees and new hire candidates, Productive Edge has partnered with Jobvite to redesign our career portal. The purpose of this update is to deliver an enhanced channel for our team to engage with prospective talent. With the market for top talent being so competitive, we wanted to be able to streamline our application process while staying connected with any passive talent that is considering us for the future.
PE Cares: Lakeview Food Pantry Volunteering
Each month, Productive Edge (PE), engages with the Chicago community to find opportunities to give back. In April, we partnered with the Lakeview Food Pantry to provide assistance in helping provide for those in need on April 16, 2019. Like in the past events, the Lakeview Food Pantry was attended by employees from Productive Edge. Volunteers included:
2019 Hackathon with UIC Black Tech Scholars
Productive Edge is excited to have once again hosted students from the University of Illinois at Chicago Black Tech Scholars program (UIC BTS) for this year’s Hackathon. As in the past, the Hackathon provided the opportunity for a group of students to join together with the goal of building something new and improving their skills in development. The event was held in at the PE offices. Under the guidance of PE employees, students were able to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. The Hackathon brought in participants from different majors and backgrounds, all who are preparing for a career in computer science..
PE’s College Graduate and Internship Programs
Productive Edge’s positive working environment provides opportunities for up-and-coming young professionals to further the impact of emerging technologies on enterprises across the globe. Over the past several years, PE has focused on hiring students from top universities in the Midwest and beyond in order to supply these opportunities for growth and development through a dedicated internship program. Likewise, Productive Edge places an emphasis on the value of hiring recent college graduates to join the company as full-time associates.
PE Cares: Dog Toys for the Anti-Cruelty Society
Productive Edge employees recently showed off their crafty side by helping out the River North Anti-Cruelty Animal Shelter. In order to provide for dogs at the shelter, PE came together to create dog toys. The toys were made out of old t-shirts donated by PE staff and were created during an after-hours event.
