PE Cares: What Happened in 2019 at Productive Edge
This past year has been a whirlwind of success at Productive Edge. Not only have we delivered game-changing digital solutions to numerous industries, but we have grown our team, increased our global reach, expanded our capabilities, and forged many new partnerships. But that’s not all.
Demystifying the Roadmap to Intelligent Automation for Boston Executives
For many executives, the benefits of Intelligent Automation (IA) are undeniable, but the roadmap to achieve them is unclear. To address this, Productive Edge teamed up with DataRobot and UiPath to host an Executive Workshop focused on IA. This interactive event educated attendees on how to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automated Machine Learning (AML) into existing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives in order to improve productivity, enhance the consumer experience, and increase revenue and value. Executives in attendance examined specific use cases that illustrated what’s necessary to integrate IA into various functions, including finance, budgeting, and operations.
Teaching Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders through Interactive Lunch & Learn
Productive Edge regularly holds Lunch & Learn events as a way of engaging different departments and educating employees on what the various teams at PE are working on, as well as showcasing up-and-coming technologies and other topics relevant to our company culture. These interactive lunch events provide more than just food, they are experiences. They present our staff with an opportunity to take a break from their work, come together as a collective team, and experience the spirit of transparency and engagement that has always been fundamental to our success.
Productive Edge Hosts Intelligent Automation Dinners
In September, Productive Edge hosted a pair of dinners focused on the power of Intelligent Automation (IA). Together with our partner WorkFusion, the events were the perfect combinations of technology, networking, and delicious food. The first occasion was held in New York City on September 17, while the second was held in Chicago on September 24. The Chicago event featured special guest Kery Wang, Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence Leader at Humana. Productive Edge and WorkFusion experts were on hand to share case studies and discuss how leading companies are achieving significant cost savings and increasing their operational efficiency through Intelligent Automation (IA).
Third Quarter Employee Appreciation Event: Family Day at the Zoo
Each quarter, Productive Edge makes it a point to honor and celebrate our hard-working employees. Our culture is a major factor in our success, and these events are core to building friendships, establishing camaraderie, and fostering a sense of company spirit.
Introducing: The PE Summer 2019 Interns
Each year, Productive Edge endeavors to make an impact in the tech community through our Student Internship Program. By enlisting students from various colleges around the country, we are able to tap into new resources while also providing opportunities for students to gain practical hands-on experience with emerging technologies. This summer, our intern team came together to create a product by leveraging Microsoft HoloLens technology. The result is a Bluetooth-enabled visual remote assistance app that can be used by manufacturers to receive predictive analytics in order to better maintain their products. Stay tuned for our Intern Blog Series, coming out soon, which will detail the project.
